When young Lo arrived on the island of Amorgos by ferry, the sun was setting, and not a single room was available. Tired and with nowhere to go, she was saved by a kind old local man who offered her a place to stay. Grateful, she accepted, imagining a quaint room with a sea view.

But when she woke the next morning to the sound of clucking, she realized she had spent the night on a box surrounded by chickens! Her "hotel room" was, in fact, a cozy little henhouse. With a laugh and a heart full of warmth, she stepped outside to the sight of the vast, brilliant blue sea. Despite the rustic surprise, the island felt like home—charming in its simplicity, with the call of adventure mingled with a sense of belonging.
